A Community Beer Festival

The Hull Theatre Quarter Beer Festival is not centred on a single location; our aim is to involve as many pubs and bars in the Theatre Quarter area as possible. We began in July 2021, with the aim of helping hospitality businesses and local and county-wide brewers to kick start their recovery from the economic challenge of lockdown. In the end it fell to The New Clarence and our friends at The Hop and Vine to deliver a choice of over 50 real ales in the fortnight that would traditionally have been The Great British Beer Festival, a more traditional, major venue event that was cancelled that year. It was so successful that it's back, and bigger! This year we are pleased to welcome to the festival Brew (in Bond Street) and The Old English Gentleman (Worship Street).
